In den ersten Sekunden wird klar, dass man als Fotograf der Stars ein gesundes Ego entwickeln muss. Anlässlich der Art Basel in Miami stellte Jonathan Mannion seine Fotografien des HipHop aus. Auf dieser Ausstellung wurde er vom Made Blog interviewed. Seit 1996, im zarten Alter von 26, geht Mannion steil. Er ist der HipHop Fotograf der USA und fotografierte schon Aaliyah, Eminem, Nas, Busta Rhymes , Lil Wayne und viele andere. Glücklicherweise begann er früh mit der professionellen Fotografie, sonst hätte er Biggie oder Aaliyah nicht mehr fotografieren können.
Jonathan Mannion, NYC based photographer, director, designer and artist, who has photographed some of the biggest names in the hip hop world such as The Notorious B.I.G., Outkast and Jay-Z, came down to Miami during Art Basel and exhibited a selection of some of his classic photographs from through out his career. During the opening night of the three day exhibition at AE District in Miami, which also featured a live performance by up and coming rapper ASAP Rocky and a DJ set by Clark Kent, Jonathan showed us around his exhibition and talked to us about his craft.
